Your Time Is Sacred — What the Capricorn Full Moon Is Really Asking

Your Time Is Sacred — A Capricorn Full Moon Ritual for the End of Financial Year | Prema Cacao

29 June 2026  ·  Full Moon at 8° Capricorn  ·  The Strawberry Moon

Close the year.
Open the field.

On 29 June, one of the most significant full moons of 2026 rises in Capricorn — just one day before the financial year closes. This is a moment to pause and ask ourselves the most honest question we can: where is my time actually going? Because time is the one resource we cannot make more of. And this moon is asking us to look clearly at whether we're spending it on what truly matters.

What this moon is carrying

Saturn asks for honest accounting.

The Full Moon in Capricorn illuminates the axis between Cancer and Capricorn — between what nourishes us and what we build, between our private emotional world and our public output, between the life we feel inside and the structures we've created around it.

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the keeper of time. Not money — time. And as the financial year draws to a close, this moon invites us to look beyond the numbers and ask a deeper question: how did we actually spend our days this year? What did we say yes to that quietly cost us? What did we keep pouring energy into out of habit, obligation, or fear of change?

The end of the financial year is the perfect moment for this reckoning — not just a review of profit and loss, but a review of where your most precious resource went, and whether it went somewhere worthy of you.

This moon isn't asking you to complete something. It's asking whether the framework you've been completing things inside still makes sense. That's a bigger, more important question.

As we move into a new financial year, we have a genuine opportunity — not just to set new goals, but to redesign how we spend our time. To consciously choose what we give our energy to. To release what has been draining us quietly, and redirect that time toward what truly serves the life we're building. Capricorn energy naturally pushes forward even when exhausted. This moon asks us to stop, look honestly, and choose differently if we need to.

The Jupiter factor

A rare door is opening.

What makes this full moon truly extraordinary is what's happening alongside it. Jupiter — the planet of expansion, abundance, and opportunity — has spent nearly a year in Cancer, the sign of home, nourishment, emotional healing, and family.

Jupiter at 29° Cancer — the anaretic degree

As the full moon peaks, Jupiter sits at its final, most concentrated degree — a last-chance position, the most potent expression of a sign before a planet moves on. Hours later, on 30 June, Jupiter crosses into Leo and begins a brand new twelve-month journey of creative expansion and authentic courage.

Jupiter in Leo is the energy of stepping into the spotlight of your own life. It asks: if you've done the inner work, built the foundations — are you now willing to be seen?

The Capricorn full moon does the honest reckoning. Jupiter in Leo offers the next chapter. What you release on 29 June creates space for what you're stepping into on 30 June.

The moon is asking

If I look honestly at this past year — where did my time actually go, and does that reflect what I truly value?

What am I spending time on that no longer serves me — and what would open up if I stopped?

What does true prosperity feel like in my body — not just my bank account?

What did I build this year that I'm genuinely proud of?

Is the way I'm working aligned with the life I actually want?

What am I ready to release before the new year begins?

What am I calling in — and what must I release to make space for it?

The ceremony

The Capricorn Full Moon
Cacao Ritual

Cacao has been used as a ceremonial heart-opener for thousands of years. It gently softens the walls we put up around ourselves and allows us to hear what's underneath. This ritual is for the night of 29 June — or the morning of 30 June. Whenever you can find thirty minutes of quiet.

What you will need
🌿

Your Prema Cacao — ceremonial pebbles, 25–30g

🌿

A journal and pen — to capture what surfaces

🌿

A few crystals — lay them beside you to charge in the moonlight

🌿

A quiet space — inside or outside, wherever you feel held

1
Prepare your cup with intention

Heat some water — not quite boiling, just warm enough to melt the cacao. Add 2 spoons of ceremonial cacao pebbles (approximately 25–30g) and whisk or blend well until thoroughly dissolved into a rich, creamy, frothy texture.

As you prepare it, hold one intention: I am willing to see clearly.

2
Create your space

Step outside if you can — the full moon will be visible in the night sky. Place your crystals on the ground or windowsill to charge in the moonlight. Sit somewhere you feel grounded. Let yourself arrive. Put your phone away.

3
Open the ritual

Hold your cup with both hands. Feel the warmth. Take three slow, deep breaths — in through the nose, out through the mouth. With each exhale, release the day, the noise, the urgency.

You are here now. This moment is enough.

4
Sit with the questions

Drink slowly. No agenda, no rush toward answers. Let the questions above move through you as you sip. Notice what surfaces. The things you've been too busy to hear have a way of rising when you finally get still.

5
Journal freely

Once you have entirely finished your cacao, open your journal and write freely. Don't edit, don't filter. Let whatever came up find its way onto the page.

This isn't about perfect sentences. It's about honest ones.

6
Close with gratitude

Before you close your journal, write three things you're genuinely proud of from this financial year. Not what you think you should have achieved — what you actually did, felt, learned, or became.

The Capricorn full moon illuminates how far you've come, not just how far you have to go.

As the new year begins

When Jupiter moves into Leo on 30 June, the energy shifts. The reckoning softens into possibility. The release opens into expansion.

The most powerful thing you can do as this financial year closes is to get honest about your time — where it's been going, and where you want it to go next. Not just what you want to earn or achieve, but how you want your days to feel.

What you stop giving your time to creates space. And space is where the new begins.

The Capricorn full moon does the releasing.
